Twinkle Twinkle Little Star ...

I've had this card made for some time now, and just remembered that I didn't post it. Yikes!  Almost missed the deadline for entering this card!
I thought this Angelic Bear on the cloud from Just Some Lines would be perfect for a baby/child card. I haven't finished the inside yet since I'm not sure how I will use it.

Challenge #6 is coming up on November 1st, and I can't wait to see what images are provided for everyone to create with.  Hop on over to CDAC to find out how you can join in on the fun!

Thanks for stopping by!

Time to change up my holidays.  This card was created for the following challenges ...

 2. Dare to be Sassy Challenge #95

 3. Sassy Studio Designs Papercraft Planet Friday Challenge

Bewitched is one of the FREEBIE's we received from SSD over at PCP.  The 3D bats and cat are from SSD Halloween Accessories. The spiderweb and sentiment is part of the Thankful for You stamp set from Avocado Arts.  The Apothecary Emporium from Echo Park cardstock provides the perfect backdrop for this sassy witch.

Glitter was added with a Spica Clear pen on the witches hair, broom, cat eyes, and the bats.

We have the Crazy 4 Challenge #110 ~ Clean and Simple 1-layer card.

I even decorated the inside.

And we have Wee Memories Challenge #73 ~ Free for all.

I've seen many other designers create cards with this type of border technique, and decided to give it a try.  It was fun and so easy to create this border.  I may use this card as a jumping point for my A Muse November Workshop. Hmmmm.

happy winter ...

It's been so long since I've been able to play along with any of my regular challenges that I'm so happy that I've got some crafting done for the current Lawnscaping Challenge #20. I actually created two cards.  However, I didn't think the first card had enough paper piecing so I created another card today.  So I will be submitting my first card for the Wee Memories Challenge #73 which is called "Free for All".

I am sharing both cards, but only submitting one for each challenge.  Here is card #2 which I created today (LC #20).

Here is card #1 that I created yesterday (WMC#73).
The card takes me back to my childhood.  My parents always put our Christmas Tree on a table.  The table was made from the chimney in the Cozy Christmas set, which I've done before.  The tablecloth is made from velum, and I just had to add the cookies and milk with the note to Santa.

I really LOVE how both of these cards turned out.

Steampunk Sassiness Take 4 ...

I finally finished my final card for the Sassy Studio Designs Progressive Challenge #4.
This lovely lady is called SteampunkVivian.  After coloring her in I was stumped as to how I should showcase her.  Finally around 4pm today an idea popped into my head.  Lets have her walking thru a door.  Think I'm going to change the text I wrote from "Going thru time!" to "Stepping thru time!".  That will be for another day since I wanted to get my submission linked up.

Once again I would like to thank SSD for all the lovely Steampunk Ladies for this Progressive Challenge, and for the other ones they provided to followers over at Paper Craft Planet.  You ladies are awesome!

Pumpkin Patch

Designed2Delight October Progressive Challenge is perfect for this time of year!  This weeks Digital stamp provided by D2D to participants are pumpkins.  I'm calling it Pumpkin Patch.
I printed up two sets of these pumpkins, colored them up, and popped in a Snoopy eating pumpkin cookies as he walks between the rows of the pumpkin patch.

Now if you've been following my blog you know that Snoopy was drawn by me earlier in the year.  I had an extra copy laying around and thought it would be perfect to have him walking through my pumpkin patch.

Steampunk Sassiness Take 2 ...

Sassy Studio Designs Steampunk Progressive Challenge - Day 2 features Steampunk Amelia.  Today's challenge was to incorporate a clock in the design.
I created my own clock by cutting out a circle with one of my Nestabilities Dies, distressing it with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, adding the black rhinestones, and hand drawing in the hands of time.  Steampunk Amelia was colored in with my copic markers.  I distressed the patterned paper, added the circle of rhinestones, popped on the clock inside the rhinestones, attached the ribbon, and attached Amelia.

This was so much fun to create!  Thank you SSD for another awesome image.

Thanks for stopping by!

Steampunk Sassiness ...

Sassy Studio Designs is celebrating 500 followers at Paper Craft Planet.  This celebration includes a Sassy Steampunk Freebie & Progressive Challenge.  Here is my creation for Steampunk Josephine!
Now I personally don't have anything metal in my craft room so I went into my hubby's toolbox and pulled out some Flat Washers and Lock Washers.  Hopefully he won't miss them.  I attached Flat Washers with blue brads, slid the Lock Washers onto some twine and used the Tim Holtz mini attacher to add staples beneath each washer.

Can't wait to see the next Sassy Steampunk!

Thanks ever so much ...

As we all know "The Holiday are Coming".  The stores are all decorated, lay-away plans are now available, all in preparation of the Holiday Season.

The generous sponsors of CDAC Progressive Challenge #5 has provided Design Team "B" with some really awesome stamps to create with for this next challenge.  The "theme" for the 5th Challenge is ...
 "Festive and Fancy"
I went outside my comfort zone for this challenge.  I altered a white craft bag [pictured below] to give homemade cookies to Katie's bus driver for the holidays!   My inspiration for this project are these yummy Cookies from DigiDrawn Digital Stamps

I colored the cookies with my Copic Markers, and used a White Gelly Roll Pen to make those "white chocolate chips" stand out.  The darkness around the edges of the cookies is complements of my husband.  He told me my original coloring of the cookies needed more depth and color to make them look more realistic.  I'm glad I listened to him.  I used a dauber with several different shaded of Pigment Ink all over the front of bag.  After fussy cutting out my cookies I attached them using regular adhesive, stamped my sentiment from Paper Smooches below, and added the strip of patterned paper I found in my scraps.

Head on over to CDAC PC #5 for all the details on how you can get these Digital Stamps and join in the fun!  While you're there check out the awesome projects created by the other Design Team Members!

I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping by!

CDAC Progressive Challenge #4 - Part 2

Now that Blogger is working again, I have two (2) cards I will be sharing for the Halloween and/or Mystical CDAC PC #4.  This is the second card I created for the current challenge.
Introducing "Monster Mash"
I thought this Frankie Stein, provided by Bonibleaux Digital Designs, was sooo perfect to create this fun card with.
I originally was going to pop Frankie onto the die cut shape, but once I cut out 3 of them in a row I knew it would look awesome as windows for Frankie to dance in.  The frame is attached with 3D squares, and the Frankie's were added with Mini Glue Dots and 3D squares.

After attaching the patterned paper at the top I added my "Monster Mash" sentiment using Paper Smooches Alphadots.

There is still time to join in the fun!  Head on over to CDAC for all the details!

Stay tuned for card #3 coming soon!

Now onto my card in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  This card is for Designed2Delight October Progressive Challenge and Sassy Studio Design Dare to be Sassy Thursday #93. I also decorated the inside this time.

At Yolie's suggestion I am also linking this lovely up to the First Annual Link up for Pink.

The lovely butterfly is part of the Progressive Challenge FREEBIE from D2Delight as part of their Hope 2011 Digital Stamp Set.  I colored the butterfly with my Copic Markers, fussy cut it out, attached it to my embossed cardbase with 3D Tape, and added a rhinestone swirl behind it.

The inside was created with stamps from Avocado Arts "My Wish for You" set.  Avocado Arts is generously donating a portion of the sales from this stamp set is being donated to Isaacs Foundation.

CDAC Progressive Challenge #4

Halloween and/or Mystical =

Bailey in Witch Hat Digital Stamp was provided by Sew Many Cards.

I printed two copies of the stamp, colored in Bailey and just the pumpkin on the second copy with my Copic Markers over the weekend.  Fussy cut them out, and then forget about them. I only remembered today that I didn't create my card with this cutie.

After choosing my cardstock and tying on the ribbon, I added Bailey using a combination of 3D squares and my ATG, and then popped on the pumpkin with 3D squares.

Head on over to CDAC to check out the inspiration provided by the Design Team "A".
Challenge #4 runs thru Friday, October 14th, so there is still plenty of time for you to participate.

I can't wait to create with the other FREE Digital Stamps provided for this challenge.
