Sleep Tight ...

Good morning! Happy Monday to all. I am scheduling all of my posts for the week, as Katie is on Spring Break. Katie is visiting her grandparents today so I will finish writing up my DT Posts, and then hang out with her for the rest of the week. So while I'm hanging with Katie, I have a Spring like challenge for you to play along with.

This week our Sponsors are ... Wings & Willows and QKR Stampede

Today's card features the adorable Sleep Tight from Wings & Willows, that I colored with my Copic Markers. I actually printed two copies and popped the colors image on top of the other. The design around the outside was created with something old that I just remembered was in my craft room. I pulled out my Creative Memories Cutting Patterns Board, and used a Copic 0.35 Multi-Liner to create the stitches. My design is based on the Seems A Little Sketchy Challenge #35.

Copic Markers: C00, C1, C3, RV10, RV13, B000, BG01, BG02, BG05, B06,
YR14, E97, E95, E19, E000, E81, E51, E53, E42

The metal corners came from a crafty friend. I think they might be Tim Holtz, but I'm not 100% sure.

Now for the sketch ...

I hope you have time to create a Pastel Colors project this week, and share it with us over at the Love to Create Challenge Blog.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Thank you ...

I created this Thank You card for a Bridal Shower Gift.

I colored up one copy of Digi Darla's Country Mailbox 1 stamp with my Copic Markers, scanned it into my computer, and then reprinted about a dozen copies onto cream cardstock. Cut it down to size, added some distress ink around the edges, and then layered it onto my cardstock. I created a dozen of these cards.

I am entering this card into Digi Darla Challenge #54, Easter/Spring. The flowers, and birds bring to mind Spring. I hope it arrives soon!

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Easter Fun ...

Good morning and Happy Friday all! Once Katie gets home from school this afternoon, it's Spring Break time! Let the adventures begin! Of course, right before she goes back to school we have Easter Sunday, and that brings me to this weeks QKR Stampede Challenge.

This week's theme is "Easter Fun" (what's in your Easter Basket?)

I always have Easter Bunnies in our Easter Baskets so I chose this adorable Racing Rabbit (digi14912) for today's project. He was sooo much FUN to color. I have him strolling thru some grass as he heads to the Easter Parade! My design is based on the Sweet Sunday Sketch #180.

I popped up his one leg, fist, and head with pop dots. You can see it a little better is this photo.

Racing Rabbit is available in Red Rubber and Digital Format, and can be found in the QKR Store by using the "Search our Store" and entering in 14912.

How about a look at the sketch ...

I'm entering today's card into the following challenges:
 - Sweet Sunday Sketch #180
 - Digi Darla's Challenge #54, Easter/Spring
 - Eureka Stamp Challenge Blog, What's in your Easter Basket
 - Simon Says Stamp Challenge, Easter/Spring

I look forward to seeing "What's in your Easter Basket". Make sure you hop on over to the QKR Stampede Blog for all the details, and join in the FUN.

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny ...

Spring is here! NOT! High's here in Northern Illinois are only going to be in the low 30's FH today, and we're expecting snow this weekend. Ugh! We had a late winter, but I'm really hoping warmer weather will arrive soon. Crafting in a warm house has made getting thru the cold days we've been having a little bit easier.

Speaking of crafting, I have a new Meljen's Designs Challenge to share with you today.  This week Challenge #152 is Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny. What does that mean you ask? Well, we are creating Notecards no bigger in size than 3" x 3".

I created three Birthday Notecards using the Fancy Gift Box stamp. Each card is 3" x 3" in size. When I saw today's challenge I remembered how Tabbatha, my fellow Design Team Member, created her cards for the Cupcake Release on February 22nd. Tabbatha printed the cupcakes in three different colors, and proceeded to create her cards. They truly looked awesome, and inspired my design for today's Notecards.  I didn't leave them alone though ... I just had to pop some color on the Gift Boxes, and coordinated the colors with the cardstock I used. This was a great way to use up some of the scraps I had laying around.

Yellow/Blue

 Cream/Brown

 Black/Orange

I hope you are inspired to get out your scraps and created some Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Notecards, and link them up for the Meljen's Challenge this week!

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Happy Easter ...

I took some time out from DT work yesterday to create a card for a couple of challenges. The {i}heart Sketch Challenge #10 and Sweet Stamps Challenge #109 ~ Crosses.

I went thru my Digital Stamps and found this lovely Old Rugged Cross from Designed2Delight / From the Heart, which I colored with my Copic Markers. I pulled out the purples from the swag for my design, and incorporated lighter colors along with some pearls. The sentiment is from the For Peeps Sake stamp set by Stamp Annie*Thing.

This next photo shows how the cross and swag is popped up on the one side.

Now for a look at the sketch ...

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Thank you ...

Good morning! I'm over on the Stamp Annie*Thing Blog today sharing this sweet card that I created with the adorable Lulu's Valentines Day stamp set, and one of the sentiments from One Cool Cat!

I used one of the three adorable Lulu's available in the stamp set. After coloring her skin and hair with my Copic Markers, I paper pieced her top. My inspiration for the layout of today's card comes from a new Sketch Challenge Blog I recently found ~ Sketchy Friday Challenge #11. Once I saw the sketch I knew that Lulu would be a perfect match, and since she's holding a piece of paper in her hand I decided to create a Thank You card. The sentiment I used is from the One Cool Cat stamp set.

Let's check out that inspirational Sketch ...

Now here's a look at the stamp sets I used ...

I love how you can mix and match / combine the different stamp sets by Stamp Annie*Thing to meet your needs. Just click on the link below to see all of the awesome stamps available in the store!
