Garden Scene ...

Good morning and Happy Monday! I'm popping in this morning to share a card I made this weekend using some NEW goodies I picked up at the Scrapbook Expo show in Schaumburg, IL on Friday.

While at the show I had the pleasure of watching a very talented lady watercolor a scene at the Art Impressions Booth. I fell in love with the technique and wanted to give it a try, so I picked up several stamp sets, the Ai Watercolor Mini Project Series Accessory Kit, and some LePlume II Markers.

This is the second scene I created with the products I purchased; the first one still needs a little work. I kept thinking about what I saw while at the show, and just started stamping and coloring.

Stamps used for this card are from the following set(s) ... WC EZ Project A (4271), WC Flower Set (4052), and WC Foliage Set 2 (4270).

This was a LOT of fun to create, and I plan on making a set of cards for an awesome lady. However, I think before I start on the set I will watch the How to Watercolor DVD I received from Ai.

I appreciate your stopping by today, and enjoy reading your lovely comments! Hope you have an amazing week.
