Springtime Silhouette ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and that means it's time for a New Challenge over at the House of CardsThis month's Challenge is a Word Cue  ... Silhouette.

We would love to see your creations featuring Silhouette's.

I pulled out an old stamp set that I've had for several years, and I really love it.
Today's card features the Sunny Side of Life stamp set from A Muse Studio. It's retired, but this is one stamp set I will never sell and/or give away.

I've used this stamp with color in the past, but really love how dramatic it looks in black and white. I stamped the images and sentiment with Ranger Black Archival Ink and then added some dots with a Black Marvy Marker (#1). I also stamped the butterflies going up the side on the inside.

Make sure you hop on over to the House of Cards Challenge Blog for all of the details for entering our Monthly Challenge. I can't wait to see what inspires you this month!

Challenges entered ...
 - Crazy 4 Challenge #325 ~ Spring Theme
 - Amusing Challenge ~ Anything Goes
 - Come and Get it Challenge ~ Monochrome

Until Next time ... Enjoy!

Hi Ruza. Had the same thought on this month card at first, but I thought others would do it so I went with a wedding card instead. Like all about your card and the sentiment is sweet.... and true. :)
So fun to see all you girls creations and howe diffrent they are on the same theme.

Ruza, this is just gorgeous! I tried to do something like this but just couldn't pull it off in this pretty and elegant detail, so I then went something completely different. This is a wonderful inspiration!
Take Care!

Absolutely stunning - love the stark black/white contrast - I had never thought to do it in black. This too is one set that will always stay in my collection.
