Have a Happy ...

Good afternoon! I'm sharing an adorable Halloween card featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

I used the cute cat in a pumpkin and one of the sentiments from the Halloween Set 3 (475). I stamped the cat several times, colored the image with my Copic Markers, and did a bit of fussy-cutting to get the 3D effect. Using Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and a dauber I created some grass under the image. The background was created with Authentique Thrilling and Doodlebug Haunted Manor design paper.

You can really see the layers in the side view.

Kitty with Latte' ...

Good morning! Today I have another adorable Thank You card inspired by the Pals Paper Arts Challenge #318 ~ A Sketch to share with you featuring stamps from Great Impressions Stamps.

I love coffee images even though I'm not a coffee drinker. That being said, I really had to create a card featuring the adorable Kitty with Latte'. Copic Markers were used to color this adorable Kitty. I embossed some cream cardstock for the background, and since school is in session I used apple design paper for my design.

I added the Latte' Sentiment to the inside of my card, and included the apple design paper.

Greetings from ...

Good afternoon! I'm back again today with another Halloween card featuring an adorable stamp set from Rubbernecker Stamps!

This adorable pumpkin is one of four images available in the Halloween Set 3 (475). The set also comes with a total of 10 different sentiments that coordinate with the adorable images.

I colored the adorable pumpkin with Copic Markers, cut out the image with a pierced rectangle die, and applied Tim Holtz Distress Inks with a double to add the grass and sky. I created the background using Whimsy Stamps Fright Night DP that I picked up last year. Using 3D Foam Tape I added my pumpkin, and one of the sentiments available in the set. Final step was to add the orange rhinestones to his jester shoes.

Happy Halloween ...

Good afternoon! I'm back again today with another Halloween card featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

I pulled out the Sleepy Hollow Tree (590) and Pirate Scarecrow (932), stamped them on white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored part of the scarecrow. To create the moon I cut out a 1" circle mask and applied a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Ink over the entire design to create the night background. After removing the circle mask, I colored in the moon. I stamped an extra Pirate Scarecrow (932) and colored it with my Copic Markers, fussy cut it out, and layered it onto my background using thin & thick 3D Foam Squares.

Too add extra dimension to my design, I add a MFT Stitched Rectangular Scallop Frame over my design with 3D Foam Tape. Once done, I put the panel on my card. I then noticed that the pumpkin was hidden under the Scalloped Frame so I stamped the pumpkin part of the Pirate Scarecrow (932) again, colored and cut it out to add to my design.

The final step was to add a sentiment. I stamped the Happy Halloween Sentiment (931) on Vellum with Staz-On Jet Black Ink, cut it down, and tucked it under the side of my frame.

Here's a closer look at the cool Pirate Scarecrow (932) ...

May the joy of the very first Christmas ...

Good afternoon! Today I'm sharing a Christmas card featuring stamps from the NEW Release of Holiday Stamps over at Rubbernecker Stamps!

This is one of many adorable snowman in the New Release called Snowman with Present (963-03). I love snowman,  and I couldn't resist creating a card this with guy. He was colored with Copic Markers, and I used a white Gelly Roll Pen to add dots to the present.

My design was inspired by the Tuesday Throwdown Challenge #311 (Sketch). I took creative license and changed it up a bit (sketch is shown at the bottom of my post).

Once all of the pieces were layered on my card I added Crystal Stickles to the image, and added some Queen & Co. Bling for the buttons on his belly. I also added some at the top and bottom of my card. The final step was to add the Very First Christmas sentiment (983-01).

Everything was fine til ...

Good afternoon! Halloween is fast approaching. All you have to do is walk in a store around my neighborhood to see that they all have their Halloween stuff out already, so I created a Halloween card featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

I pulled out this cool Sleepy Hollow Tree (590) and Witch Silhouette (938), inked them up with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink on RN Watercolor Paper. I cut out a circle and masked off the moon, pulled out the Ken Oliver Color Burst Brights, and added some of the Violet Color Burst into a Ranger Mini Mister filled with water.  I sprayed over the whole panel with the the violet color burst. Once the panel is dry, I pulled off the circle and used more of the Ken Oliver Color Burst Brights to color in the moon I created. I cut down the panel and layered it on black cardstock.

I pulled this cool sentiment from the Halloween Set 3 (475), stamped it on RN Watercolor Paper, with Ranger Archival Jet Black Ink, added some Ken Oliver Color Burst Brights color under the sentiment, and cut it out with my MFT Hz Stitched Strip Die. I score the strip on the right side of the sentiment, and layered it over my panel. Once done, I used 3D Tape to add it to my card.

Today I have an adorable Fall card to share with you featuring stamps from Great Impressions Stamps.

Aren't those Kitties in Pumpkins so adorable! I had an so much fun coloring them in with my Copic Markers, and fussy cutting a few of them to create a 3D effect. Those that were fussy cut, were layered on with 3D Foam Squares and regular adhesive. Wine ...

Good afternoon! I'm back again today with a fun birthday card for that special lady in your life featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

Many of my female friends love wine so when I saw the Wine Bottle (639-03) I knew I had to make a card with this image. It makes a great birthday card when you add the Better with Age Sentiment (640-02).

I started by stamping the Wine Bottle (639-03) with Memento Tuxedo Black, 2x's on white cardstock, which I colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut them and put it on the side. Next I stamped the Wine Bottle (639-03) with Staz-On Black Ink 1x on clear cardstock, and fussy cut only the bottle (no cork). Then I adhered the clear cardstock over the colored wine bottle with Glossy Accents, and attached the fussy cut labels to the bottle.

The Wine Bottle (639-03) is the main focus of my card so once that was done, I created the background using MME Cut & Paste Flair DP, and added the Better with Age Sentiment (640-02).

Party Dinos ...

Good morning! It's time for a New Monthly Challenge over at the Great Impressions Blog. This months Challenge is Anything Goes with an Inspiration Photo, and there is an awesome Prize for the Winner.

My grandson will be turning two later this month, and I decided to get a head start on his birthday cards. These adorable Party Dinos are perfect for a 2-yr old. I stamped these adorable guys three times with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored them with my Copic Markers, fussy cut two of the dinos and paper-pieced them with 3D foam tape (thin and thick).  I then added the Dino-Mite Sentiment. Next I used post it notes to mask off the dinos and sentiment, and used a dauber to apply distress inks under the dinos, and under the sentiment. Using 3D Foam Tape I then adhered the panel to my card.

My daughter will be giving the card to my grandson as it matches the gift she is giving him.

I hope you'll check out our Monthly Challenge, and play along. If you use Great Impressions Stamps make sure you also link up to our Customer Gallery.

Elegant Wedding card ...

Good afternoon! I'm back today with an Elegant Wedding card featuring stamps from Rubbernecker Stamps!

To start off creating my card for today, I pulled out the Love Stamp Set 545 to create the background on my panel. Using two of the stamps from the set I stamped them with Versamark Watermark Stamp, and embossed them with Winter Wonderland Embossing Powder. I then stamped the Bouquet 896-06 with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored her with Copic Markers along with a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen for her dress, and cut her out with Nestabilities Oval Die.

I pulled out some Vanilla Silky Crush Ribbon from my stash to wrap around the panel, and used 3D Foam Tape to layer it on my cardbase. I then added the colored Bouquet 896-06, which was layered on a scalloped oval background, to the left of the bow. The final step to pull this all together are the Maya Road Trinket Pins that I pulled out of my stash to dress up the bow.

Here is a closer look at the embossed background ...

Enjoy the little things ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and that means a New Challenge over at the House of Cards starts today. This month we have a Theme/Color Challenge for you ... use Birds and/or the Colors in our Inspiration Photo to create your project this month.

I wanted to go with the Birds for my card today, and I couldn't believe how hard it was to find bird stamps in my extensive collection of stamps.

I chose the Darcies Little Things (POL27). It's an older set that I've always loved, and don't use enough. I went with Black and White for my colors because I love the boldness, especially how the stamps just pops off the card.

I started off by stamping the branch, added the bird and a couple of leaves. Then I stamped the sentiment on a strip of cardstock, cut it out with a die along with a strip of black. Using thin 3D tape I added the sentiment to my stamped panel by wrapping it around the stamped background which I layered on black cardstock and then my cardbase.

Make sure you hop on over to the House of Cards Challenge Blog for all of the details for entering our Monthly Challenge. I can't wait to see what inspires you this month!
