Good afternoon. I have a NEW Challenge to share with you featuring products from Rubbernecker Stamps. This fortnight our Challenge #29 is "Silly Animals".
There are so many FUN Silly Animals offered by Rubbernecker Stamps, and I chose to work with the Laundry 1 Set because I really love the dog in this set.
To start I stamped the images with Archival Jet Black Ink on watercolor paper, and then used my watercolor pens to color the dog and clothes. Once dry I cut them out using the Laundry Days 1 Coordinating Dies. I then cut a piece of watercolor paper with one of the Nested Rectangle Stitched Dies, and created a some mud at the bottom. I cut a slit in the dog's mouth to added the socks, put some of the other muddied clothes behind the dog and adhered him to my muddy frame. I cut out 2 more rectangle frames with the die. I stamped clothes from the set on the cream cardstock, distressed the edges with ink, and then layered the pieces of my card together on a kraft card.
The "sentiment" is one of three in the set, and is a perfect match for this muddy dog. I stamped the sentiment onto my watercolor paper, and cut it out using one of the Nested Circle Pierced Dies. I muddied it up a bit with ink, distressed the sides, and added it to my card with 3D Foam Tape.
