... DTBST Challenge #152 ...

Happy Thanksgiving to all my US friends.  I hope you have a marvelous day with family and friends, and if you're going out for Black Friday please stay safe.

This week's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday Challenge is all about material.  For Challenge #152 we want to see how you add Felt or Fabric to your projects.

I pulled out Samantha Sassy for today's project.  She was colored with Copic Markers, and I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to give her the shimmery dress, shoes and earrings. My material is the rug Samantha is lounging on.  I used the Fleur de Lis Squares Die to create the frame for the distressed Create with TLC sentiment inside.  Next was to add the bouquet of love flowers from Lawn Fawn's Cruising Through Life stamp set.  I have this Mini Shopping Bag die and thought it would be perfect to put the flowers inside.

The rug was created by recycling some old curtains shown in the photo below with the products I used on top of the material.

I believe this is the first time I've altered material, and I truly like how it turned out.

Remember to head on over to the SSD Blog to see the projects created by the rest of the Design Team, and then join in the FUN!

I'm entering this card into the Marker Pop Challenge #11 which is Skin Tones.

Until next time ... Enjoy!
