... My Craft Corner ...

Good morning! A couple weeks ago I asked my father-in-law to make a shelf to go on my craft table.  I received the shelf 2-weeks ago, and had to rearrange my Craft Corner as the shelf was larger that I requested.  It's all good. Since I had to clean in order to rearrange my Craft Corner I took some pictures.

My Craft Corner is located in my basement, and is a mix of items.

My NEW Shelf, that I absolutely love!

I love that I now have all my go-to products right in front of me.

One of the only downfalls about having my Craft Corner in the basement is that I can't leave my Copic Markers there because of the coldness. I have them in a storage container that can be moved to the first floor.

The old spice rack in the corner was emptied, painted, and holds buttons ... brads ... stick pins, and I have my Want2Scrap Bling in the black basket on top of the spice rack.

The sign in the corner says Parking for Rebel's Only.  I saw the sign a couple years ago and picked it up for my son, and he didn't take it when he moved out.

The white shelving on the left side holds ribbon and an assortment of inks that I rarely use, while the plastic rolling shelf holds my punches, embossing stuff, stickles, and the bottom drawer holds my DeNami Design stamps. The Blue Tray on top of the white shelving was painted by my daughter, and I put a plastic bin inside it to hold all of the other bling I have.

The black shelf was picked up at Target, and I filled it with storage containers that hold all my Clear Stamps, miscellaneous rubber stamps, Unity Stamps, Washi Tape, 6x6 pads of DP, Embossing Folders, etc.

The white shelf was another item my father-in-law made.  I have an assortment of contains on the top that will be recycled. The closed doors hold my Neenah Solar White cardstock and envelopes, while the shelves have an assortment of products plus all of my PaperCrafts Magazines.

Even though we have central heat, it doesn't heat the basement much when it's really cold out ... reason for the electric heater that looks like a radiator.

This is our covered pool table that has not been used in many years.  I love that I can spread out here when working on big projects, and when I have friends over to craft we can all work around the table.  You can see my Cuttlebug, and I keep my dies that I regularly use in the binder located right in front of them. My paper cutter is in the lower left corner, and my photo tent is at the top of the picture.

Well that is it. I truly love that I can get away from everyday life when I enter this part of my house. I can craft while the laundry is going, and it's a great place to hide out.  Katie visits me regularly, but doesn't stay for long as all of her stuff is located in her bedroom.  The hubby pops in once in a while just to visit, talk, or just see what I'm working on.

Hope you enjoyed seeing where I create!

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Love it! You're so lucky to have a place to go. I've moved from crafting on a card table to the kitchen table! I'm moving up! I love your new shelf and that everything else is so convenient for you. I should come craft sometime!

Hugs,

Susan
