Good Morning! Happy Tax Day everyone, or as my daughter Katie loves to hear ... Happy Birthday! On this day 21-years ago, my beautiful daughter Katie was born. We celebrated her birthday this weekend. Here is a picture of Katie with her brother and his wife as we were singing Happy Birthday.
Now speaking of Birthday's ... I created a Birthday card for the NEW Love to Create Challenge to share with you.
(created a project for one of the guys in your life)

I fell in love with this stamp from Rick St. Dennis called Country Lane Scene! I knew it would be perfect for my Masculine Birthday Card! I added a bit of color to the rooftops and greenery with my Copic Markers, and applied some Glassy Accents to all the windows. The next step was to cut the top part of the image. I cut an extra piece of cardstock, added Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, and then layered the image on top using 3D Foam Squares behind the rooftops to create a 3D effect. After adding Antique Linen Distress Ink over the bottom of the image I matted it. After distressing and matting my sentiment, I put my card together based on the Paper Craft Planet Sketch SK041213.
Making cards "For the Guys" is a challenge for me, but using this awesome image from Rick St. Dennis made it so easy! I hope you'll share your project with us this week over at the Love to Create Challenge Blog!
Until next time ... Enjoy!
