Sassy 80's to the Max Blog Hop ...

Good morning, and welcome to the Sassy Studio Designs 80's to the Max Birthday Blog Hop Release. Lindsey did an amazing job creating some "Totally awesome-like 80's images" for the Release. The 80's to the Max Blog Hop is a collaboration with the Designers from Sassy Studio Designs and The Corrosive Challenge Blog.

If you hopped on over from Jody's Blog then you are in the right place. However, if you just arrived make sure you head on over to the Sassy Studio's Blog for a complete list of the very Talented Designers participating in today's Blog Hop.

The theme for this months Blog Hop is "It's Only a Number" birthday. My card was made for a very talented young lady, and a past Sassy Sister whose birthday is this week.

Happy Birthday Regan!

I had the FUN job of creating a card with the NEW Sassy Smurfette! I can truly say that coloring Smurfettes skin blue was a bit of a challenge for me, but I love how she turned out. Smurfette and the sentiment, that I created with MS-Word, were layered on Vellum that flips open to the left to show the base of my card.

The mushrooms are from the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Forest stamp set, and were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The number "40" was created in MS Word using Word Art, cut out, and colored with a Black Copic Marker since I forgot to have them print all in black.

I shrunk Smurfette down really small for the inside of the card, colored her with my Copics, and then added my personal Birthday Wishes inside before mailing it to Regan.

Regan ... you can open your card now! LOL!

Now for the FUN part of the Blog Hop!

There are five (5) Trivia Questions over on the Sassy Studio's Blog, and five (5) Trivia Questions on The Corrosive Challenge Blog  One Winner from each Blog who answered all the Trivia Questions correctly will receive four (4) images of their choice from the NEW Release!

That's not ALL! By commenting on EACH of the Designer's Blogs during the HOP you have a chance to WIN the image being showcased! The WINNER's from this weekends Blog Hop will be announced on the Sassy Studio's Blog next Sunday, August 11th.

Ruza, love the vellum front. Those mushrooms are great and perfect with Smurfette. As for forgetting to have the 40 fill in before printing. Think of it this way, refill ink for Copics is cheaper than printer ink. Look at all the money you saved. hahaha
