Thinking of You ...

*******************************

I'm a Guest Designer for Sweet Stamps during the month of October, and I'll be sharing my projects based on the Weekly Challenge over at the Sweet Stamps Blog!

This weeks Sweet Stamps Challenge #137 is all about Borders.

I designed a Clean & Simple card to showcase the Beautiful Victorian Rose Border (7018) stamp and Thinking of You Curly (909) stamp. The roses were colored with Copic Markers, cut out, paper-pieced onto the my stamped design, and layered onto the Crimson Weave cardstock from AC.

I flipped the design sideways to make it easier to show the border design close up. The leaves were colored on the design, and each rose was colored separately, fussy cut out, and paper-pieced. Layering the pieces together was really easy after running the roses thru my Xyron Sticker Maker.

The texture that this created on the card looks really amazing in person.

Hop on over to the Sweet Stamps Blog for all of the details about this weeks Challenge #137, and then share your project for a chance to win a $20.00 Shopping Spree to Sweet Stamps Online Store.

I'd like to enter this card into The Friday Mashup Challenge #130 ~ Let's Cut it Up.

Until then ... Enjoy!

Wow!!!! It may be considered clean and simple, but I don't know how simple it was to make with all of that beautiful coloring, cutting and layering =) Pretty !

Wow, Ruza, your cutting was perfect! It was seamless with the stamped image. What isn't beautiful about a border of Roses? Have fun being a guest designer this month, and thanks for submitting your card at The Friday MashUp this week.
