Read me a Story ...

This week our Challenge is "Love of Ribbon" and
our Sponsor
 is ...
Sami Stamps

Today's project is not a card! Say What! I know!
This creation is going to be part of one of my scrapbook pages.

This beauty is called Read Me A Story and is one of many lovely stamps
that you will find over at Sami Stamps.

Copic Markers were used to color the beautiful scene, which I fussy cut.
I remember sitting with my son and daughter, a very long time ago,
and just reading as we cuddled.
The sentiment explains it all "Good Times"!

Now you might be wondering about where my ribbon is.
The checkered background was created with ribbon, and the rug
that they are sitting on is frayed canvas ribbon.

Here's a collage of pictures showing a couple of the steps taken
to create my checkered background/wall.

Once the ribbon wallpaper was finished I layered several pieces
of cardstock together to which I applied Walnut Stain Distress
Ink to create a chair rail. Next step was to add the frayed
canvas ribbon along the bottom, and add my image.

Now for the big job ... finding the perfect pictures to scrap
with my project! Wish me luck!

Make sure you hop on over to the Love to Create Blog for all of the
challenge details, and to be inspired by the amazing projects
created by the rest of the designers made.
