Holiday Shaker Cards ...

Shaker cards are all the rage now so I created several Flat Shaker Cards to share with you today.

My cards feature a Papertry Ink Winter Floral Die Cover Plate, one of the sentiments from the Papertry Ink Holiday Wishes Stamp Set, Recollections Chunky Glitter, some Stickles and Liquid Pearls.

Since the Winter Floral Cover Plate has so much detail, I used a metal shim while running the Cover Plate through my Big Shot. I did this with the Basis Green CardstockFlavours Gourmet Chili Arbol (Red), and Stardream Metallic Crystal (White). I made the base for my card with Classic Crest Solar White Cardstock.

I flipped each of the panels over, adhered 1/8" Scor-Tape all around the edges. I then cut several pieces of Acetate (clear cardstock) to 5-1/2" x 4-1/2", and attached the panels to the Acetate. Then I stamped the sentiment with Staz-on Black Ink, flipped the panel, added more Scor-Tape around the edges, and sprinkled the Chunky Glitter over the panel.

Once I finished putting the Chunky Glitter over the panel, I removed the Scor-Tape and laid my card base on top of the panel. This makes it easier to keep the Chunky Glitter where you place it.

The Chunky Glitter is actually Green and Gold. The final touch was to add a bit of Stickles and Liquid Pearl to the center of the flowers.

All of the Red, Green and White cardstock is 10% off as part of the Holiday Sale going on right now.
