House of Cards Blog Hop ...

Good morning! Another term at the House of Cards Designer is coming to an end so we are saying farewell to some of our DT Members and feel so grateful to those staying on. To say goodbye, and thank you, we're celebrating with a Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Rosi. However, if you just arrived make sure you head on over to House of Cards so you can start at the beginning.

We have several fabulous Sponsors who generously offered prizes for the Hop! Make sure you leave a comment at each person's blog along the way because the prizes are hidden, and we'll be doing random drawings from the blogs where the prizes are hidden! After you're done, make a creation to share with us for another chance to win!

Inspiration Photo ...

Now for our fabulous Sponsors!
Our team will be using a variety of products from these amazing companies!

Now for my creations that were inspired by the colors in the Photo Inspiration ...

My first card features a lovely Wicker Daisy Basket and Being You Sentiment from Great Impressions. I stamped the image and sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ranger Ink onto a Stathmore Watercolor Notecard, and used my Marvy LePlume Markers, pallet, paintbrush and water to color the image. The Notecard comes with matching envelopes so I couldn't resist stamping a partial image and adding a bit of coloring to the basket.

My second card features one of the super cool sentiments that is part of Big Notes from Reverse Confetti. I stamped the sentiment with Jet Black Archival Ranger Ink on Ranger White Watercolor Paper, and applied Gelatos to the the whole panel in Red, Pink, Green and Yellow. Once done I used a sprayed water on the panel with my Mini Mister, and used a sponge to blend the colors together. After the panel dried I used 3D Foam Tape to layer the panel onto Lemon Drop Paper from MFT, and added some Lemon Gumdrops from YNS.

This hop will run from June 1st at 6:00 AM CST through June 15th at Noon CST, any card style is welcome and we've got a gorgeous photo inspiration for your crafting enjoyment! Your next stop in the hop is Shawna!

Don't forget to leave a comment on each post along the hop, and then link up a project with us after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a Mystery Prize from one of our fabulous Sponsors.

Until next time ... Enjoy!

These are both beautiful. There is something I really love about the first one. The coloring and the sentiment are awesome. And I love that you stamped the envelope. (I should do that more!) And the 2nd card is fun. That's a great sentiment also! :) -Hugs Katy HOC DT

Your cards are lovely, Ruza! I like them both but all that white space on your first card just makes my heart sing! I'm stepping down from HOC but will still be dropping in to take part in the occasional challenge and will visit all my lovely HOC buddies as often as possible. Take care of yourself and keep creating, Jo x
