Christmas Thank You card ...

Good morning! I'm back again with another project as a a Guest Designer for the Dare 2B Artzy Blog.

Today’s Thank You card features the Tis the Season Stamp Set (#16229) along with the Ornament Die Set (D26). I started by stamping one of the ornaments from the set onto white cardstock three times with Memento Cottage Ivy Ink, and then cut each ornament out with the coordinating die. The dies are so easy to use and only the smallest amount of the white cardstock was visible once done. Using a dauber I went around the edges of the ornaments with my ink to get rid of the white. A Gold Marker was used to color in the poinsettias on each of the ornaments, and a Silver Marker was used for the hanging portion of the ornament.

The ornaments were hung by string on top of each other going down the side of the DP from D2BA using 3D Foam Tape. I cut out five thank you sentiments from white cardstock using one of my dies, glued them together with Tombow Mono-Liquid All Purpose Glue, colored the sentiment with the Silver Marker, and added it to my design. To even out the distribution on my card 3 Silver Enamel Dots were added. My design was then adhered to the card base with 3D Foam Tape.
