RN Monochromatic Challenge ...

Good afternoon. Today is the start of a NEW Challenge over at Rubbernecker Stamps. Every fortnight I will be sharing a NEW Challenge with all of you.

This fortnight our Challenge #17 is Monochromatic

I went masculine for this challenge with a clean and simple design using this Retro Car called Two Tone (567-05) and Happy Birthday Sentiment (565-23). Using Memento Rich Cocoa I stamped the car on PTI Kraft Cardstock, cut it out with one of the RN Nested Rectangle Stitch Dies (5007D), and applied the same ink around the edges with a dauber. I also cut out another piece of Kraft cardstock with the largest die in the set, and inked the edges. I pulled out some french roast cardstock, ran it thru my Big Shot with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder, and then cut it down to size. All of the pieces where layered on my Kraft cardbase and the stamped panel was added with 3D Foam Tape.

My card design was inspired by MFT Sketch Challenge #346 (as shown below).
