Good morning! The year is going by so fast. It's hard to believe that June is already here, and that in a couple of months I will be a Great-Aunt again twice over. This months Scor-Pal Challenge is perfect for the anticipated arrival of a prescious bundle of joy, so I made a Baby Album.
I was inspired by Tamra's Frontier Folio/Album, and followed her tutorial. I used Artisan Linen Cardstock and Lightweight Chipboard to create the base of the album, along with Basic Grey Large Magnets. The album is 8"x10" so I was really happy that I got in some of the 8-1/2"x11" Scor-Tape Sheets. It makes adding the Chipboard to my Cardstock a LOT easier. PhotoPlay About A Girl 12"x12" Paper Pack was used to decorate the album.
The picture above, of the cover, has a pocket on the right side that I put some cut-aparts from the DP inside. The "Baby Girl" is Small Talk Sticker that I picked up at Michael's.
The picture above shows the album open. The left side is a side booklet with pockets. The center top flap folds up and there is an upside down waterfall at the bottom with pockets. The right side is a waterfall that I secured with decorative Acetate, and stickers from the collection. There are a LOT of pages for adding photo's, journalling, etc.
Here are some close-up pictures of the inside.
I used my Scor-Pal Eighths Board for scoring all of my cardstock to create this card, along with 8-1/2"x11" Scor-Tape Sheets, 1/4" Scor-Tape, and 3/8" Scor-Tape for putting everything together..
I hope you hop on over to the Blog for more information about this months Scor-Pal Challenge, see what the other designers created to inspire you, and join in the FUN.
