A Couple Birthday Cards ...

Good morning. I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday. Today I'm popping in to share a couple birthday cards that I made for my son.

Both cards were created with THoltz Watercolor Cardstock, watercolor markers, and a paintbrush.

I went with a 3-1/2" x  6-1/4" base for the first card. This one is from my husband and I, and it held my son's birthday money. The design was created with a variety of Art Impressions Watercolor Stamps ... 4051 Foliage Set 1, 4052 Flower Set 1, 5010 WC Tree Set 1, and 5011 WC Truck Mini Set. The sentiment is from my stash. I gave the card a red, white and blue base/background because his birthday is so close to the 4th of July.

The second card is A4 in size, and is the card my daughter gave to her brother. I used a Dinasaur Set that I have, and the Art Impression 4051 Foliage Set 1 for the grass. I fussy-cut all of the dinasaurs and trees, and used 3D foam squares and Art Glitter Glue to add them to my card.

We celebrated my son's birthday last night, and he loved the cards. My grandson thought they were pretty cool. Especially, the dinasaur card.
