Explore with Woodland Friends

What a fun challenge by Wee Memories this week.  Challenge #46 lets us play with Woodland Friends.

I recently purchased quite a few different sets that have fun woodland creatures.  I combined three different stamp sets for my first card.

When I first saw this weeks theme I knew I wanted to use the tree from the Ride Away With Me set by Wilson Design.  I was real careful not to ink up the heart in the center of the tree.  Then I pulled out my October Afternoon Campfire set.  I think that bear is soo adorable holding the map.  The grass, flower and hawk is from a Martha Stewart set that was given to me.  I'm sorry to say I don't know the set name. :(

The tree, bear and map were colored with my Copic Markers, and fussy cut.  I paper pierced the map, and attached it with 3/16" mini pop dots.

After attaching the tree, I stamped the grass with the ink that came with the Martha Stewart set, and then used some Forest Moss Distress Ink from Tim Holz over the grass.  Next I added the adorable bear using more mini pop dots, stamped the flower and hawk along with the sentiment "explore" along the top.

The paper products used for this card are: Paper Studio Ivory Notecard, Light Green from Bazzill Basics, and Peppered Moss from Paper Cut.

Here's to hoping that my concept provides you with some inspiration to play along.

Thank you for stopping by!
