Mardi Gras Masks ...

With Mardi Gras right around the corner I decided to use the colors from OTWC Challenge #47 to make a card for this wild event that takes place every year.  I incorporated the colors into the What IF? Wednesday Sketch F2311 from the House that Stamps Built/RI.  Keeping with this theme, I also made a St. Patrick's Day Card today, go here to see that post.

I got this Digi Stamp free from Crafters Digital Art Center.  Colored it in with Copic Markers and fussy cut the mask out.  There are little stars on the mask, and I had those lovely stars laying around from Christmas and decided to use them on the card.

Here are the challenges that inspired my design.

Products used for this design ...
 - Stamp:  Mardi Gras Mask Digi Stamp by SH over at Crafters Digital Art Center
 - Paper:  Paper Studio White Notecard & Scrap, and Bazzill purples
 - Ink:  Copic Markers BV00, BV01, BV02 & V17
 - Extra:  Darice Star Gems
 - Tools:  Trimmer, Creative Memories Cutting System - Oval, Tim Holtz Distress Tool, 3/16" Mini Glue Dots, and my ATG

Here's to hoping that my take on this sketch provides you with a little inspiration to participate in some of the challenges going on.
