With International Earth Day coming up on March 20th, the current challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges is to create a design that incorporates a tree (C4C78).
The PP from DCWV Linen Closet Matstack was covered with rain drops from Lawn Fawn's Partly Cloudy using Memento London Fog Ink. The Large Winter DeNami Tree (P93) and leaf from Paper Smooches Friendly Flowers were inked up with Memento Cottage Ivy. I colored the tree and leaves with a combination of Copic markers, using the MultiLiner to add the veins on the leaves. Using the same Cottage Ivy ink I stamped the smiley face and sentiment from Lawn Fawn's Sophie's Sentiments. The corners were rounded with a Creative Memories round corner punch. Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink was added along the bottom portion of the tree, and below the sentiment.
Even though Tiffany has already awarded a badge for Sketchy Sunday Challenge TG10, I wanted to use her sketch. Here is Tiffany's Sketch title Embracing Rounded Corners.
Here's to hoping you enjoy my take on Tiffany's Sketch, and the theme provided by Crazy 4 Challenges.
Thank you for stopping by.
