When I saw the Black & White challenge over at Playing in Paradise #16 I knew I wanted to play along. I combined these colors with the Sketch challenge over at i{heart}2stamp.
I picked up my first A Muse Studio set of stamps this weekend and new they would be perfect for these challenges. I inked up the branch w/leaves with white pigment ink for the black cardstock, and with black ink for the white cardstock. In person it is a subtle white on the black that looks really nice, it looks kinda greenish on the picture. Not happy about that.
I inked up the sentiment and butterfly with watermark resist ink, and embossed it with white embossing powder. Used a Nesti on the sentiment, and a white pen to go around the border. The butterfly was fussy cut before popping it on the design.
I hope you are inspired by my interpretation of the sketch and color challenge to go forth and create.
Thank you for stopping by.
