Good morning. This is the first of two more cards I created yesterday to share with you.
This was created for CAS-ual Fridays CFC #3 Bring on the Bling, and DeNami's Product Challenge #08 to use Patterned Paper.
I used another new stamp for this design from DeNami. I love the idea of laying back in a bubblebath as I think of my hubby when he's out of town. He will be heading out again soon, so I will slip this one into his luggage with a note about how I can't wait to join him.
I colored in Mimi and the bathtub and bubbles with my copic markers, applied some 3-D Crystal Lacquer and Very Fine Sparklets to the bubbles. This is the first time I used 3-D Crystal Lacquer so this card was really a 2-day project. I wanted to make sure that the Sparklets wouldn't come off when I turned the design over so I let it sit overnight. Silly I know!
I used my rule to draw a line near the top of the tub, fussy cut the top part of the paper so I could incorporate some wallpaper behind the tub. The chair rail was drawn with a .035 Copic Marker and colored in. I replaced the bubbles I cut off with some bling bubbles, and popped up Mimi's head with a 1/4" mini pop dot that I cut in half.
I hope you enjoy my CAS design and it provides you with some inspiration to go forth and create.
Thank you for stopping by.
