Going "Green" ...

Today I'll be sharing two (2) cards I created for the current CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge #12.  The current challenge "Green, Great & Gorgeous" runs thru Wednesday, February 29th.

My first card showcases this lovely Happy St. Patrick's Day digital stamp that was provided by Crafting with Jack.  I let the stamp stand on it's own by framing it with my Nestabilities, and running some ribbon thru the slits in the side.  I used the Distressed Stripes Embossing Folder for the background, and applied some Distress Ink to give it a wood-like texture.

My second card showcases this adorable Hang in There along with the Sentiment from Happileigh Scrappin' Store.  This frog is soooo adorable.  I had fun coloring him with my Copics.  Then I fussy cut him out and popped him on my background.  The shape was created with Xyron Frame 2 Dies which I won from Shapez about a month ago. Once again I used the Distressed Stripes directly behind the frog on the smallest shape.  The sentiment was colored with Copics, fussy cut and then separated it to fit where I wanted to put it.  You can see the 3D Foam Squares that were used to pop on the frog.  I doubled up the foam directly under his legs to make him really hang.

The Design Team did a great job showcasing these images, along with the others that were provided for CDACPC12.  I encourage you to hop on over and see what CDAC has to offer.

I would love to see what you create with these images!

Until next time ... Have a marvelous weekend!

Both cards are marvelous Ruza! I love the embossing plate that you used on the first one and the layers of orange and burnt orange on the second one! It really "pops" that image!

These are so fun, Ruza! That shamrock frame is fabulous. It looks great with the woodgrain background!

I love what you have done with this card, the wood grain effect is brilliant, is it hard to do? Angela (Crafting With Jack)
