Be yourself ...

I've had this image from Just Some Lines called Big Hat Girls 2 printed for over a week now.  This was one of the Freebie's from the current CDAC Progressive Freebie Challenge #18.

I picked up the sentiment from Create with TLC for free last week.  When I saw it I knew I found the perfect sentiment to go with this image.

I wasn't sure how I was going to color this adorable girl until I saw the current color challenge over at The Play Date Cafe.  The colors in the challenge were perfect for her, so I pulled out my Copic Markers and got to work, and fussy cut her out leaving a white border.  Next was to cut out the sentiment and the border with my dies, and layer all the pieces on my card.

I will be submitting this card for the following challenges ...

Now for some inspirational photos ...

I really love how this card turned out, and I hope you do to!

Until next time ... Enjoy!

Ruza

Ruza what a beautiful card, all the colors, the way you have used the pearls and such a great sentiment to use with the image.
There's great dimension here! Your coloring really stands out, as do those pearl flourishes.

Thank you so much for joining us at The Play Date Cafe this week. :)
