Good morning and Happy Monday all! Today is the start of a new week and time for a NEW Paper Makeup Stamps Challenge.
This week we challenge you to create a Tent-Topper card. For those of you not sure how to even get started with this challenge, head on over to Splitcoast Stampers for this tutorial.
Before we get to my card, let us welcome our newest Digi Makeup Artist Ardilla to the Paper Makeup Stamps Design Team. We also have a Guest Artist this week ... welcome Rachel Fisher.
I used the sweet stamp called A Couple of Moodies for today's project. I printed out two (2) copies of the stamp, colored the background and couple separately with my Copic Markers. I used my Nestabilities Circle Die to cut out the background, applied some distress ink, and fussy cut out the couple to layer on the background with Mini Glue Dots and 3D Foam Squares. As you can see I used a few layers for my topper.
Here is a closeup of the couple ...
When I was coloring the couple I was thinking of my son and his wife, so I added a bit of scruff to the young man's face to make him look more like my son. LOL! I am giving the loving couple this card for their 1-yr Anniversary in 2-weeks.
The only requirement to play along with the Digi Makeover Challenges beside the obvious, is that you must use a Digital Stamp for your project. After all it is a Digital Challenge. ;o)
I hope you'll come over to Digi Makeover, check-out what the rest of the Design Team created, and then join in the FUN for a chance to win 3 Digital Stamps from Paper Makeup Stamps.
Until next time ... Enjoy!
