During the week I used some of my downtime while Katie was at camp to create a card for FUN to enter two challenges.
This adorable girl is called Gracie by StampArt Design by Kathryne. I printed two copies, colored Gracie and the butterfly on one, and the fence on the other with my Copic Markers. Once I was done coloring I cut out each piece, and layered them back together on my design.
Here's a side view of my card that shows the fence is flat on the bottom and that the top rail is popped up. This makes it look like Gracie is truly sitting on the fence. I probably didn't need to separate the images, but that just how I work.
Distress Inks were used to create the sky and the sand behind the image. Extra butterflies were added along the bottom of the fence after I added my design to the decorated base.
Now for the challenges I mentioned before. My design is based on the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #215, and Whimsy Stamps Challenge #61 Ribbon & Lace.
I hope you are all having a marvelous weekend!
Until next time ... Enjoy!
