House of Cards May Challenge ...

Good Morning! It's the 1st of the month which means that I have a new House of Cards challenge to share with you! This month we are challenging you to try a technique called the Bokeh Effect!

There are a lot of Tutorials on YouTube that shows you the different ways to create a card using the Bokeh Effect. After watching several of them I created a couple of cards to share with you today.

I tried a couple different mediums to create the background and chose the ones I created with Distress Inks. The sentiment was FREE from Clear & Simple Stamps ... a Customer Appreciation stamp that I received this year. So happy I used it for my cards this month since these are going into my Operation Write Home Box. As for the Bokeh effect ... I had issues with the ink, and plan on trying again with another ink soon. Practice makes perfect!

Make sure you hop on over to the House of Cards Challenge Blog for all of the details for entering our Monthly Challenges! I can't wait to see what inspires you this month!
