Dreaming of Spring Bookmark ...

Good morning! I'm hosting the Art by Miran Blog today. Our "Theme" for the month of June is "Anything but a Square Card".

I'm an avid book reader, digital and hard copy, and decided to make myself a bookmark using Dreaming of Spring. I printed 2-copies of the image, colored up the girl with my Copic Markers and fussy cut her out. I recently picked up the Copic Air-Brushing System and decided to try using this vs. my distress inks to create the sky. I used the B06 for the sky, then colored in the grass manually, and used a bookmark die to cut it out. Once done, I attached the little girl and flower to the bookmark, and used DCM-798 Embroidery thread for the tassel.

I'm looking forward to using this beauty over the summer as I sit in the sun reading.
