October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and I created another card for The Hop to Stop. This hop is designed to raise awareness about Domestic Violence, which is an issue that impacts 1 in 4 women.
My card features the Rainbow of Ribbons Stamp Set from MHK Designs, one of the Hop Sponsors. To create my card I started by opening a Word document and pulling in the clear ribbon from the stamp set, adjusted it to size the I wanted, then copied and pasted the ribbon to create my background, added the sentiment to the page and hit print. I colored each of the ribbons with my Copic Markers and cut down my background to size, and layered it on my cardbase. Once the sentiment was cut down I applied distress ink around the edges and popped it on my card with 3D foam squares, and then added the enamel dots.
