House of Cards Blog Hop ...

Good morning! It's hard to believe that my 2nd term as a House of Cards Designer is coming to an end. We are saying farewell to some of our DT Members and feel so grateful to those staying on. To say goodbye and thank you, we're celebrating with a Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Rocky. However, if you just arrived make sure you head on over to House of Cards so you can start at the beginning. This hop will run from December 1st at 6:00 AM CST through December 15th at Noon CST, any card style is welcome and we've got a gorgeous photo inspiration for your crafting enjoyment!

Deedee's Digis ~ Great Impressions ~ Inspired by Stamping ~ MHK Designs

Now for my creations ...

My first card features one of the Teddy Bear Present from Deedee's Digis Beary Merry Christmas.

I printed several copies of the Teddy Bear Present, colored it my Copic Markers, and layered them to get a 3D effect. The sentiment is one of three sentiment in the set. Once my coloring was done I layered a variety of design paper, and added the adorable Teddy Bear along with the sentiment.

My second card features the adorable Franklin Hanging On (E366) and Holidays Sentiment (F621) from Great Impressions.

I love how great these stamps are! You get a clean and crisp image the first time you add ink to them. I stamped the adorable Franklin Hanging On 3-times on my card base using a masking technique for over-laying the image, and then added the Holidays Sentiment near the bottom. I then stamped Franklin Hanging On several more times on the extra cardstock. Copic Markers were used to color the image, of which I fussy cut 2 of the images, and layered them on my design. Once this was done, I added the red dots near the sentiment, and added a ceiling (sort of) along the top with DP and SRM Border Stickers.
