Great Impressions January Challenge ...

Good morning! We have a new Challenge starting today over at the Great Impressions Blog, and I am excited to be joining the Great Impressions DT for another term. This month our challenge is called "Lovey Dovey" ... and we would love to see your Valentine and/or Bird Projects.

My card features the adorable All a Flutter Lottie (F541) and the coordinating A Ton Sentiment (B238). I stamped the adorable Lottie two times ... one for coloring with my Copic Markers and the other for my panel. After adding Lottie to my panel, I used a Heidi Swapp Stencil to add the hearts with a dauber and Victorian Velvet Distress Ink. I then put a couple Post-it Notes near the bottom of Lottie, applied Antique Linen & Vintage Photo Distress Ink to give her something to sit on, and then added Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create the sky.

Lottie was then paper-pieced over the stamped image on the panel, along with the 3 hearts above her and the 1 in the sentiment. Final steps was to apply the Victorian Velvet Distress Ink around the edge of the panel, and layer said panel with dimensional tape to my card base.
