Onesies Baby Shower card ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and that means it's time for a New Challenge over at the House of Cards! This month's Challenge is a Word Challenge ... Shape Up.

I made a couple of Onesies Baby Shower cards to share with you today.

Knowing that my husband's cousin is going to be a grandfather soon, I couldn't resist picking up the MFT Baby Onesies Die and the MFT LJD Beautiful Baby stamp set for the occasion.

The first card opens at the top. The base of the card is made with Papertry Ink Vintage Cream cardstock with AMS Pistachio as the onesie.  I stamped one of the elephants from the stamp set with Memento Bamboo Leaves, added the sentiment and some Zva Pearls for the snaps.

The second card opens from the side. I used the same cardstock for the base and onesie, but added a layer of CCS Navy Basis cardstock in between. For the cover I used a Heidi Swap stencil and Memento Summer Sky ink with a dauber, then added the sentiment in Memento Danube Blue, and used Royal Blue Liquid Pearls for the snaps. On the inside I used both of the star stamps from the set to continue to design from the cover.

These were so fun to make, and now I'm ahead of the game for the Baby Shower later this month. One card to go with my gift and one for my daughter's gift.
