Wishing you a ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and with it being April 1st ... watch out for those April Fool's Day pranks. :-D

Now back to our regular scheduled event for today. It's time for a New Challenge over at the House of CardsThis month we have a Photo to Inspire you ... use Script and/or the Colors in the photo to create your project.

For my card I went with the colors ...

I pulled out my MFT Spring Tulips stamp set along with Marvy Watercolor Markers. I stamped one of the tulips and sentiments from the set, inked it up with Ranger Archival Ink and stamped them on CutCardStock Basis White cardstock. I applied the Marvy Markers that I used to a pallet, then used a paintbrush with water to color in the tulips, the sky and add the ground cover. Once colored I cut down the image using the MFT Die-namics Pierced Rectangle STAX, then used the MFT Die-namics Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Frames with CutCardStock Basis Pink cardstock to create the overlay over my image/panel, which I layered on Very Cherry cardstock from MFT with 3D Foam Tape.

Marvy Markers: #2 Red, #15 Olive Green, #45 Sepia, #75 Sky Blue

Make sure you hop on over to the House of Cards Challenge Blog for all of the details for entering our Monthly Challenge. I can't wait to see what inspires you this month!
