It's Time to Par-Tee ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and it's time for a New Challenge over at the House of CardsThis month we have a theme challenge for you ... use Vellum or Acetate Clear Papers to create your project.

For my card I went with Acetate Clear Paper for my cardbase, and the design of my card was inspired by the Sugar Sketch #51 (shown below).

I pulled out my new Sugar Pea Designs Tee-rific stamps for this months challenge. My husband and son both golf so this was a must have set for my stamp collection. There are 7 different images with 8 coordinating sentiments to use when creating with this set.

I stamped the adorable golfing penguin, colored him with my Copic Markers, paper-pieced his hat with the Xyron Sticker Maker, and put him on the side. I then added the panel on the inside of my Acetate cardbase, stamped the tee-box, and paper-pieced the greens and flag. With the inside complete, I closed my card and added a strip of DP along the top, popped on the adorable penguin with 3D Foam Tape, added a bit of washi tape along the bottom and stamped the sentiment on same.

Here is a look at the inside of the card.

Last step was to stamp the golf bag with clubs on an envelope to coordinate with my card.

Make sure you hop on over to the House of Cards Challenge Blog for all of the details for entering our Monthly Challenge. I can't wait to see what inspires you this month!
