Good morning! I'm proud to announce that I was invited to join the Rubbernecker Stamps Design Team, and today I am sharing my first card as a Designer.
These lovely girls are Best Friends (727-01), and I had a great time playing with them. It has been a while since I picked up my Copic Markers so I decided to combine coloring and paper-piecing for these lovely girls.
Using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink I stamped Best Friends on white cardstock and on DP. Copic Markers were used to color the skin, hair and the purple part of one of the outfits (as shown above). I did a LOT of fussy cutting for this one, ran the clothes thru my Xyron Sticker Maker, and paper-pieced the clothes back on the Best Friends.
I stamped the freehand circle from the Freehand Border Phrase Set 900 over one of the Best Friends image previous stamped, cut it out with my Nestabilities Circle Die, did a bit more paper-piecing with the Best Friends image, and layered it on the background I created.
A sentiment was needed to finish off my card and I chose Destiny (504-04). This sentiment is one of many available at Rubbernecker Stamps that are a perfect match for the Best Friends image.
Challenges entered ...
