Just a Note to Say ...

Good morning! It's the first of the month, and that means a New Challenge over at the House of Cards starts today. This month we have a Theme/Color Challenge for you ... Lots of Layers and/or use the Colors in our Inspiration Photo to create your project this month. 

I combined the challenges by using the colors and adding lots of layers.

Today's card focuses on the sentiment which is from the Papertry Ink Wonderful Words: Hello Mini stamp set. I used one of the 7 smaller sentiment stamps in the set plus the big hello for my focal point. Memento Rich Cocoa Ink was used to stamp the full sentiment on Papertry Ink Vintage Cream cardstock. I used the solid colors from My Mind's Eye Fancy That DP for the background, and layers. To make my card a little more feminine I added some LeCreme Swirls Finesse Pearls from Want 2 Scrap under the sentiment.

This card will be heading out to one of my dearest friends and was inspired by the Atlantic Heart Sketch #184. I also love that even though I added layers the card is still clean and simple, which makes for easy mailing.
