House of Cards Blog Hop ...

Good morning! Another term at the House of Cards  is coming to an end, and I am saying FAREWELL while some of the DT Members are staying on. We are also holding a DT Call, so make sure you check out the details over at the House of Cards Blog. To say goodbye, and thank you, we're celebrating with a Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Rosi. However, if you just arrived make sure you head on over to House of Cards so you can start at the beginning.

We have several fabulous Sponsors who generously offered prizes for the Hop! Make sure you leave a comment at each person's blog along the way because the prizes are hidden, and we'll be doing random drawings from the blogs where the prizes are hidden! After you're done, make a creation to share with us for another chance to win!

Our team will be using a variety of products from these amazing companies!
MHK Designs ~ Great Impressions Stamps
Beccy's Place ~ Cute as a Button

I created two (2) cards to share with you today. The first card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch #265 (shown below), and features the Holiday Wreath from Cute as a Button.

I printed this lovely girl on Neenah Solar White cardstock, colored the image with my Copic Markers, and cut her out. She was layered on a scalloped circle, and popped on my white card that I applied Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass Distress Ink on. A variety of Stickles was used for the hat, ornaments and holly berries. Using StazOn Jet Black Ink I added the Merry Sentiment from Great Impressions Stamps to Clear Cardstock, cut it out with my MFT Hz-Stitched Strips Die and used my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to layer it over the image.

My second card was inspired by the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Challenge #2-103 (shown below).

I stamped the Snowy Trees stamp from Great Impressions Stamps on white cardstock with Memento Cottage Ivy Ink. A Large Nestabilities Oval Die was used to cut out the image. I then applied a variety of Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the sky and ground. Once I layered my design on the background I created with DP, I added Stickles to represent the snow on the trees and in the sky with the final addition of enamel dots in the lower right hand corner.

Don't forget to leave a comment on each post along the hop, and then link up a project with us after completing the hop for an extra chance to win a Mystery Prize from one of our fabulous Sponsors, any card style is welcome and we've got a gorgeous photo inspiration for your crafting enjoyment!.

Two beautiful cards, Ruza! I love the first for its simplicity - even if it was not as simple to do as it looks, and the second for the calm that emanates from the image!

Both of your cards are so pretty! I love how you colored the Santa girl. And the gold ribbon and red look so wonderful together. I also love how you created the sentiment. The second card is so awesome. I love how you were able to make an oval and two different kinds of paper. (That is something I have not tried lol). :) Hugs! Katy House of Cards Teammate :)
