Good afternoon. Today I'm popping in to share some inspiration for the NEW Rubberneckers Stamps Challenge #5 ~ Masuline.
Today's card features a Sneak Peak at one of the NEW Stamp Sets (#3014) that will be Releasing in Mid-March. The NEW Sets are Clear Stamps and they come with Coordinating Dies! Awesomeness!!!
I had a blast creating the scene for my birthday card. To start I stamped the truck with Memento Tuxedo Black on white cardstock, plus a couple extras, and then created a mask of the truck. Placing the mask over the truck I stamped the tree with Memento Rich Cocoa, and stamped the bunch of leaves with Memento Cottage Ivy all around the tree limbs. There are 3-different grass stamps, and I used all 3 of them below the truck and tree.
Copic Markers were used to color the truck on my design, plus the extra copies, and fussy cut out them to paper-piece it back together. Clear cardstock was added behind the windows of the truck prior to layering the truck together using 3D Foam Squares and my Xyron Sticker Maker. The scene was cut out with my MFT Pierced Rectangle Die, and layered on a green piece of cardstock that was cut out with the same die.
I pulled out some Graphic 45 Design Paper to create the panel behind my scene, added the Birthday Sentiment from the Birthday Border Set #348 with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Twine was wrapped around the panel and layered on my white cardbase with 3D Foam Tape, and the scene was added to my design with 3D Foam Tape. The final step was to use a Silver Pen and Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen for the wheel spokes, and several areas on the truck.
