Thanks ...

Good afternoon. First up I'd like to let you know that Rubbernecker Stamps is having a Design Team Call ... head on over to this POST for all the details. Now, back to our regular scheduled programming ... I made a lovely Thank You card to share that features Rubbernecker Stamps.

First is the beautiful Jessica (670-02). I stamped Jessica with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored her with my Copic Markers, used a White Gelly Roll Pen for the dots on her dress, and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen on her gloves. I then fussy cut her out, but you don't have to use scissors to cut her out ... Rubbernecker Stamps offers a coordinating Jessica Die Cut (670-02D) for that purpose. 😊

The background was created with Authentique Be(you)tiful and Faith DP, which I distressed with Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Once layered on my cardbase I added the White Swirl Pearls and Beautiful Bling Strip of White Peals and Silver from Want2Scap. The sentiment is one of many from the Best Friends Etc. stamp set (3032). I cut the sentiment apart so that it would line up nicely on the side. Jessica was then added to my design using 3D Foam Squares and a bit of adhesive to keep her feet on the ground.

Cowboy Ralph ...

Good afternoon. First up I'd like to let you know that Rubbernecker Stamps is having a Design Team Call ... head on over to this POST for all the details. Now, back to our regular scheduled programming ... I'm sharing a monochromatic masculine card today featuring Rubbernecker Stamps.

Cowboy Ralph (562-03) is such a FUN image to color. I only used 5 Copic Markers to color the image ... E000, E00, E04, E11 and E21. Once colored, I used a large Nestabilities Circle Die to cut it out along with a piece from to lay behind him. Tim Holtz Distress Inks were applied around Ralph and the die cuts. The Authentique Natural DP was distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink to keep the color scheme going, and was centered on my card. Ralph was centered along the bottom edge of my design.

For the Legs Looks Skinny Sentiment (564-11) I cut it out with one of the RN Small Frame Dies (950D), distressed around the edges, and popped above Ralph's head with 3D Foam Squares. To make the sentiment look like a thought bubble I added the Black Rhinestones.

Thank you ...

Good afternoon. I'm sharing a Thank You card today featuring Rubbernecker Stamps.

Today's card features a couple of the butterflies in the Butterflies 1 Stamp Set (3025) along with two of the sentiments from the Best Friends, Etc. Stamp Set (3032), and a Queen & Co. Squares Die.

To start I cut out the Squares Die with white cardstock. Using my Misti I placed the panel on top of my cardbase, held the panel down with the magnets, and proceeded to stamp the butterflies and the sentiments with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The butterflies were colored with my Copic Markers. I removed the Squares Die panel and applied Tim Holtz Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky around the butterflies. I then applied Tim Holtz Salty Ocean over the entire Squares Die panel, and used 1/4" Scor-Tape to adhere the panel on my card.

Happy Birthday ...

Good afternoon. I'm sharing a masculine birthday card today featuring Rubbernecker Stamps.

When I saw this classic Corvette (268-01) I could resist playing with the cool image. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink was used to stamp the image which I colored with my Copic Markers. I also used a silver pen for the fenders and swoosh on top of the car, and a Yellow Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen for the headlights. Once I finished coloring this classic car I fussy cut it out, and used 3D Foam Squares and adhesive on the tires to adhere it to my panel. Tim Holtz Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks was applied around the edges, and then I added the panel to my background. I used Authentique Natural DP for the background and applied the same distress ink to each of the pieces. The Birthday Sentiment is one of may from the Best Friends, Etc. Stamp set.

Here's a side view to see how the car is popped up ...

Happy Birthday ...

Good morning! It's hard to believe that it's July 1st already. The year is going by so quickly! My fellow American's please be safe as you celebrate Independence Day 🎆 4th of July 🎆 this weekend!

Show us projects featuring Die Cuts,
but remember to have more than One Score.

This month I made a card that features a variety of dies. I pulled out one of my older dies, a Cherry Lynn Lattice #2 A2 Frame Die. I really love this die and it sparked a lot of ideas for this months challenge.

To make my cardbase I cut two pieces of cardstock to 4-1/4" x 11" ... 1 in the PI Vintage Cream cardstock and 1 in PI Clear Cardstock. I scored each piece at 5-1/2" with my Scor-Pal Eights Board

I cut down two (2) pieces of Scor-Tape 6" x 6" Adhesive Sheet to A2 size and adhered one (1) to a 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" piece of PI Vintage Cream cardstock. I ran it thru my Big Shot with the A2 Frame Die. I then adhered it to my PI Clear Cardstock. Next I connected the two (2) pieces of cardstock using the 2nd pieces of Adhesive Sheet. Using the Adhesive Sheet made it so much easier to adhere the intricate die to my cardstock, and to connect the cardstock. With the cardbase done, now it's time to decorate it.

I pulled out my never before used PI Floral Sketches Stamps Set and the coordinating Floral Sketch Dies. I stamped one of each flower using PI Orange Zest Ink, and the leaves with PI New Leaf Ink. Memento Tuxedo Black Ink was used for the details. Once the stamping was done, I used the coordinating Floral Sketch Dies to cut them out. I then pulled out the PI Fun Frames Die, adhered some Adhesive Sheet to a scrap of Vintage Cream cardstock and cut it out. Before I added it to my card I added the birthday sentiment from PI Offbeat B-Day Stamp Set. To make the sentiment fit on the Fun Frame Die I cut the sentiment apart before stamping it.

Using a combination of Scor-Tape 6" x 6" Adhesive Sheet, 1/4" Scor-Tape, and 3/4" Foam Tape I pulled all of the pieces together to create the design on the front of my card, with a little extra on the inside.

Here's a picture of the card open. I love how much room I will have on the inside to send off my birthday wishes.
